Bunny Wabbit Run

When: Saturday, April 8, 2023

The Bunny Wabbit Run is a 5K (one hop), 10K (two hops), and half-marathon race, a 200-meter Kid’s Dash, and an Easter Egg Hunt all in one. This is open for children ages 8 and under.

Our scenic course features a few rolling hills that wind its way through the open prairies and lush green forests of the Des Plaines River and Casey Trails in the springtime. If you’re lucky (and fast enough), you might even catch the Easter Bunny with his prized Golden Egg. Catch him and get a FREE race entry next year!

What’s more, just by the race start at Independence Grove Forest Preserve is an awesome kid’s playground, a huge picnic area, and a man-made beach. So, come on out and bring the whole family for some fun this coming spring of 2023!

Arctic Frog Run

Race Description

The Arctic Frog Endurance Run is a beginner’s ultramarathon. This scenic course features a trilogy of pavement, wooded and crushed limestone trails that run north and south of Des Plaines River and Northwest Casey Trails. Make NO mistake—it will NOT be a “gimme” with a few challenges in store (rolling hills)!

If you’re lucky, this northern Chicago suburbia turns into a winter wonderland come December each year, making it a unique running experience for anyone that hasn’t tried running in the cold winter months!

15K (9.3 Miles) = 3 loops of 3.10 mi
25K (15.5 Miles) = 2 loops of 7.75 mi
50K (31 Miles) = 4 loops of 7.75 mi

MAYVILLE, WISCONSIN
When: Saturday, December 17, 2022

Race Description

This new course is roughly 20% trail, crushed limestone gravel and mostly asphalt, but while we advertise it as a “beginners” Ultramarathon - make NO mistake - it will NOT be a “gimme”! We definitely have a few challenges in store (rolling hills) for you! What's more, if lucky - this hidden gem of northwestern Wisconsin turns into a "Winter Wonderland" come December each year, making it a unique running experience for anyone that hasn’t tried running in the cold winter months!

**BTW, if you haven't already known, we also just added a 50 Mile distance to this race in case you feel 50k isn't enough of an adventure for you. Hurry and sign-up!
